{PassionHR} benchmark exercise on imprest cash disbursement

Dear All,

I am working in a Pharma Industry and am in the process of strealining Imprest cash disbursement to our new sales professionals during their joining.
All pharma industries having this practice because the sales people should not get struggled with their initial expenses.
Could any one help me to provide - what are the best practices following by other pharma industries ?

E.g.

1.    Whether imprest cash is providing to their new employees at the time of joining ? or
2.    Along with their salary ? or
3.    How much time (lead time) it takes from the DOJ
3.    If imprest cash paid, the same willl be adjusted with their TA bills ? or at the time of the separation ? 

It would be really helpful if some provide the data.
