Hi, As per Law we can not deduct PF from all allowances. PF is deduted from Basic + DA (12% Contribution by employee and 13.61 % contribution by Employer from BASIC or BASIC+DA (If ur company provide DA Allowances then only) Employer Contribution: 3.67 % goes to PF a/c 8.33 % goes to Pension fund Total Employer Contribution= Employee Contribution: 12% of Basic or Basic +DA goes to direct his/ her PF A/C only Regards Meenakshi Mishra HR Manager Indus Simulation Teknolgy(Kalinga Data Link) --- On Wed, 1/28/09, prabu prabu <prabuhr@yahoo.
