Can we think of an alternative to down sizing??? A critical and sentive question yet to be answered.
Its the work force that gets the first hit.
By reducing the head count, is financial restructuring possible?
Do organizations study the economic impact of workforce down sizing???
Is liquidity and spending capacity not reduced further???
Dont organization hit their own prospective customers???
Instead can we think of proportionate down sizing of salaries across the board and avoid work force shedding? Doing so we can not only protect interest but also the prospective customer. We be spending capacity is reduced a little but not as high as, if mass retrenchments.
